A spoonful of snooze is a 100% natural edible recipe that calms the body and prepares it for sleep, for a deeper and more restful snooze. Say goodbye to sleepless nights and say hello to a brighter, more well-rested you!

Jujube is a native Australian fruit, rich in fibre, vitamins and healthy fatty acids. Jujube seed releases saponins and flavanoids, quieting the hippocampus and promoting relaxation.

Valerian, sometimes referred to as 'Nature's Valium' has been found to inhibit the breakdown of GABA - an important neurochemical for restful sleep and stress control.

Ashwagandha serves a number of health functions. It is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich, and has been found to assist in modulating the body's response to stress by supporting the all-important adrenal system.

Reishi mushroom, known as the "mushroom of immortality" in Chinese medicine, is well known for its muscle-relaxing and stress-relieving properties. Reishi is a source of immune-boosting polysaccarides, balancing beta-glucan, and a host of heart-healthy compounds including ganoderic acids, mannitol and sterols.

Banana is a rich source of potassium and magnesium, known to promote relaxation. Bananas also contain the amino acid L-tryptophan, which gets converted to 5-HTP in the brain. 5-HTP in turn is converted to serotonin (a relaxing neurotransmitter) and sleep-inducing melatonin.
